The centre includes a modern purpose-built residential centre, a range of outdoor activities, an all-weather sports pitch and social areas. Alongside groups of young people who use the centre for their own programmes, tailor made adventure activities are also provided to visiting groups.  One of the most successful programmes is the Summer Adventure Camp where local young people in the 6-14 age group avail of five-day multi-activity camps. A unique feature of Greenhill is how international volunteers are trained to deliver activities to visiting groups while gaining accredited qualifications themselves.
