The main focus of work in West Dublin is the provision of a number of family support programmes as part of the PAKT ( Parents and Kids Together) initiative. These include children’s clubs for the 6-16 age group; a regular drop-in facility for parents; family events and a back to education initiative for parents. In addition the YMCA has been involved in a number of pilot activities including exploring how to use adventure based activities with teenage boys.
