YMCA Londonderry was first established in 1856 and moved to its current location in the early 1980’s.

It provides youth club activities five nights per week in the YMCA and an additional four nights per week in a neighbouring community facility. The YMCA has developed particular expertise in the areas of digital media, music and art and these are incorporated into youth activities. The centre offers an after-school programme as well as summer clubs. Londonderry YMCA has a long tradition of offering team based sports and this has been used as a platform to work with a cross-section of sports codes to help embed good community relations and effective governance in sporting organisations in the wider community.

YMCA Londonderry is managed by a local board of management.
