Last month Greenhill YMCA hosted a one day conference “The Power of Outdoors” – The event was organised by The Outdoor Partnership in conjunction with Tollymore National Outdoor Centre and Greenhill YMCA.
YMCA Ireland is the lead partner on the Empower 2 Transform programme, funded by PEACEPLUS through the Special EU Programmes Body which brings together a consortium of project partners including Youth Link, Youth Initiatives, Mencap and a range of 17 associate partners across Northern Ireland and the border counties across a 4 year period.
The game, which started on the courts of a YMCA in December 1891, has found its way to Larne.
